I thought this was interesting. The Pepsi/iTunes ad you just saw in that sporting event people seem to enjoy? Those were the real kids that the RIAA sued. Here is an article (courtesy of the Reg), just dripping with sarcasm, on the event. They even give a nice mention of the MoveOn debacle.

I guess the RIAA wants to point out that it’s perfectly willing to target children with lawsuits.

It is also perfectly legal for the RIAA to target/serve “children” with lawsuits. They are doing something illegal, plain and simple and if they don’t start learning right from wrong when they are young, when are they supposed to learn it?

After they’ve plagerized their way through high school and college?

GMAFM. I love muffins. And I didn’t plagerize that.

I’ve long thought that musicians, athletes, actors, and the companies surrounding them are making way too much money for their relative contribution to society. Entertainment is all well and good, but when people who actually produce food and shelter for others, or actually contribute to society in a tangible way, can’t support their own families, it may be time to rethink the way the world works. In any case, when 10% of the population is making 90% of the money, something’s just wrong. (I made those statistics up, but it sounds about right. If anyone knows any better, let me know)
