A reminder of how we elect our president

I was googling this morning for the latest in the national election polls, and was reminded of the sobering truth of this article.  Those national polling results don’t mean a thing.

Wow…so it doesn’t matter in the slightest that I write in ‘Atticus Finch’ every election? Well, that sucks.

But the polls do matter.  They tell all those slackjaw losers whose bandwagon to jump on.  It’s why I hate all those early election results.  People see that their candidate is a little behind and decide to stay home.

What do you think the odds are that the majors will stick by their decision from 2000 and refrain from exit poll results?
