Remember Devastatin’ Dave the Turntable Slave?

Of course you do.

I recently discovered that Dave Devastated the Turntable people and led a slave revolt, only to be ambushed and enslaved again.  Now he is a Cyberslave.  Yes, Dave is back, and he’s Devastatin’ like he never quit (which, according to his bio, he never did).

Dave has been very busy, Slaving away at his Turntables.  Fed up with the lack of artistic control and grueling tour schedule, not to mention the pervasive drug scene, against which Dave has clearly Zip Zap Rapped, Dave said, “Lata’ fools!” to the mainstream record labels.  Applying his trademark brand of perseverance and ingenuity, Dave retreated to The Devastatin’ Cave and formed his own record label.  His new album, entitled “Havin a Dream,” features the high quality cover art we’ve come to expect from The Devastater.

Quite frankly, I’m ashiver with excitement.  With songs such as, “Gettin it off (her chest!),” and “Praise Daze,” I know this is going to be one of the best albums I’ve ever heard.  Devastate on, Dave.

Wow, still at it after all these years and no success.  A warning to us all that sometimes hard work and persistence are simply never enough.

Dave is definitely a poster child for giving up on your dreams.  Maybe the title of his latest work is an acknowledgement of that.
