Oh, snap!
Never did enjoy the comic strip of Calvin & Hobbes. I guess I’m simple minded enough to enjoy the great works of Gary Larson’s Far side. It just seems so much harder and more creative to express satire and humor in a single image.
That’s interesting, Davion because I’ve always thought that Calvin and Hobbes was one of the most subtle and brilliant comics of all time. I think Watterson’s sense for satire and humor were nearly without peer on the comic page.
I love The Far Side as well, but it’s difficult to compare the two since they were so different in format and tone.
