Okay. I’m going to tell you a story…
A year or two ago, I was going through one of my depressive episodes, and my very dear friend, John, took a trip home, visited a certain website, and printed out twenty or so beautiful, colored images of—what else? Nudibranchs.
What are nudibranchs you ask? Only the most incredibly awesome and weird creatures ever to swim around in the ocean.

Now, when I’m feeling down, all I have to do is sift through my nudibranch photos, and all seems right with the world. Some of them look like beautiful flowers, some of them look like overstuffed sofas, and some of them just defy description. They are as diverse as the beautiful rainbow of humanity.
Thus, I share with you the wonder of nudibranchs, or, as they are more commonly known, sea slugs.
Move over, Picasso. You ain’t got nothin’ on mother nature.
