Whatever happened to Joe Camel?

Poor Joe. His nightclubbin’, bar-hoppin’, swinging heydey was cut short by the ninnies in Congress.  Thankfully, it’s a big world out there with many fine opportunites for an anthropomorphic camel.  So where is he now? Exactly where you’d expect him to be: on a bottle syrup in the Middle East. And they said your were geared towards children!

    damn, that’s smooth and cool.

it’s funny when something like 80% of 4yo american kids could identify joe before mickey mouse.

Yeah, you could say that’s pretty….goofy.

Appropriate, no? Fine Arabian tobacco and syrup have always gone hand in hand.

one question: Where exactly, in the middle east, is there a necessity for not one, but TWO types of vegemite-flavored syrup? What differentiates an adult syrup from a child-oriented version?

The version for kids has more nicotine.
