Banjo Freakout Goodness

I’m going to indulge myself here a little, folks.  This may not be your cup of tea, but I know that The Black Glove, ZolarCzakl, and mrcookieface will dig it.  (For that matter, my folks’ll dig as well.) So for them, and myself, I present to you Eddie Peabody banjo player extraordinaire playing St. Louis Blues.

This guy is just amazing to watch play the banjo, and bonus points for having one of those great 1930’s voices.

Sorry to be the annoying guy that points out the mistakes again… But this video has been replaced by the one with anna nicole acting.  I realized this after I had sent it to several people saying “this is the wierdest banjo player ever” Which makes it even funnier.

Just in case you guys didn’t realize. I’m sure you did though. This is still the best site ever.

Nevermind nevermind nevermind nevermind.

That’s amazing.  I’ve never heard the banjo played without all the Flatt & Scruggs style rolls.  If only Steve Martin had been able to return the banjo to it’s former glory.
