Speaking precocious kids, here’s a 10 year old white girl from Boston who has decided that rap and hip-hop shall be the soundtrack of our aural destruction. Meet Dahv, who in one particularly painful track (We Can Rock) proclaims “I’m like Elvis Presley only 10 years old. I was born to make hits, gonna move like the king and shake my….hips.” Truly, it’s like hearing God whispering in your ear that your arms are going to rot off and be fed to rabbits.
This darling of Disney Radio (Thanks A LOT, Eisner!) proclaims herself to be a triple threat of music, theater, and dance. She credits her parents with exposing her to the wonders of Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood, and Amy Grant as a child (which should be a felony). Wow. It’s almost as if you can hear the hoofsteps of the apocalypse in her voice!
