Tard Blog

I don’t know what to make of this site.

It’s a site filled with stories from special ed teachers.  From one perspective, it seems like they are just “being real” but actually have compassion and caring for their kids – I mean, they chose this profession, right?  From another perspective, they are revelling in the mockery of the mentally retarded.

Maybe it’s both.

Thanks to Ed for the link

Just plain mean. I read the original when I worked at the call center. I was very put off by it.

You all kids should be less upity.

I know that I couldn’t do that job for 5 mins. If the lady wants to vent some steam, let her.

I’m a special education teacher and there is no way that I would be able to write anything like this about my students. I believe the author made the right choice when she choose to quit. I also hope that this teachers partner or family does not feel the need to deal with the stress of dealing with HER by starting up like minded blog. Two wrongs still doesn’t make things right.
