Will Eisner: 1918 – 2005

The incredible, oft imitated, but peerless graphic artist and writer Will Eisner died on Monday due to complications from a quadruple bypass surgery. 

I didn’t get into his stuff until my late teens, but it was then that I saw just how much he influenced all the comic writers I grew up on.  Eisner was a true artistic genius of the form.

Damn!  Comics looses another great, and shmucks like Ron Marz live longer to try and destroy everything they built.
