“Everybody dance now!”

It gives me great comfort to know that there are people like this in our armed forces.

I’m being serious.  I have a completely unscientifically proven theory that servicemen who put on C+C Music Factory’s “Everybody Dance Now” and dance their ass off in their dorm room, and servicemen who strip Iraqi detainees down, hood them, stack them in a human pyramid, and take pictures.. are mutually exclusive.  Just a theory.

I’ve watched this thing at least 5 times.  You see, amongst my friends, I am that guy. Davion has seen me get out on the dancefloor and get retarded for over 10 years now.  And even though I know I gots da moves, he always just laughs.  (And I know why.. he can’t dance!) So there is an unspoken brotherhood that I feel for this guy just going apeshit in his dorm room.  He does a quality routine from start to finish – notice how when the singer says “jump”, he jumps.  When he says “hands in the air”, this Air Force cadet dutifully follows orders and throws his hands in the air.  But my personal favorite is when he “marches it out” followed by lip-syncing the diva as she shouts “work me all night!” My Gawd, that pose!… I almost shot Coke out my nose.

Thank you, Crazy Dancing Air Force Guy – I think I speak for everyone when I say, You do your country proud.  Now, “Jump to the rhythm!  Jump jump to the rhythm!  Jump!”

I guess the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy is really opening doors for some people.

I’m not laughing because of your “moves”, I laugh because you still won’t come outta the closet.
