Ray Johnson artistically used coin-operated Xerox machines in the early sixties to create his Pop Art masterpieces.

Johnson did the first happenings (he called them “nothings”) he carefully arranged collages on the street, sat under a sun lamp until somebody told he might get burned, or dropped mustard-covered dimes into a pay phone. He took his own life on January 13th 1995 and now Ray has become the most famous unknown artist in the world.
