I use a program called iPodder to find rss feeds that randomly download videos onto my system.  90% of the time I get crappy internet only shows, fight videos, or any of a number of seemingly endless videos of portly folk singing and dancing, but the odd bit of video fun does make it’s way across the ether so that I might bring it to you.

Then again, sometimes I get weird, undescribable nonsense that I’m compelled to share.  Like this music video, the title or band name are a complete mystery to me.  But hey!  Who doesn’t like videos with cooking and puppets? (This video completely denied all attempts at a screen capture, so here’s a picture of a cookie)

Not to toot my own horn but…

Okay I’m gonna toot it loud and clear.

If I woulda saw this music video as soon as it came out I’d have NO doubt who the singer is. I never heard the song before, but I’ve definitely seen her live with “The Aquabats”. She is awesome. She plays all her music by herself with a keyboard. It IS Lederhosen Lucil and if you search for her site, which I’m too lazy to find myself, you can download her MP3s which I totally did. And I listen to her music on like a monthly basis.

She’s a great singer and real quirky. Unfortunately this lead to all the 14 and 15 year old boys to clamor on her at the show, but she was nice to them anyway. You have no idea how happy this makes me. Thank you Alphamonkey for the find. Transbuddha for life.

Thank you, Lucil, for taking me back to that childhood place where baking cookies was ethereal and sexy.

And poisonous.  Don’t forget that part.

  • Shadow Stalker

That was just to kill her puppet captors.

I’m allergic to poison, so I didn’t bake ‘em that way.
