Whale Hunting in Utah

Whale hunting has traditionally been done on water all through it’s history. One man out there wants to change that, while committing a cross country crime spree. Starting at alcatraz prision off the coast of California Richard Smith will travel across this great land breaking strange laws that are on the books in each state he visits until he arrives in Hartford,CT

I’ve always been somewhat amused by hearing about the odd laws still on the books in some places, but I never had the idea to actually break these laws, not to mention planning a trip around that very task.  Some of my favorites that he plans to break (besides hunting whales in Utah) are playing cards against a Native American in Globe, Arizona and Giving lighted cigars to house pets in Zion, Illinois. The story has more details, so I’ll let the link fill you in on the rest.

Great one Soup!  Wish I had posted it!  Guess I’ll just have to add to it.  Here’s some Weird Sex Laws

My favorite: It’s against the law to make love to a virgin, whatever the circumstances, anywhere in the state of Washington. According to the wording of the legislation, it’s a major crime even to marry and then spend the night with a virgin bride in that city.
