I don’t know why, but I am endlessly fascinated by Burger King’s marketing strategies. Maybe it’s second-place syndrome, but they consistently outdo the Golden Arches in all thing creative. Here’s their most recent offering: Need For Feed, where you can get your whack-a-mole fix taken care of. Except that instead of moles and hammers, it’s office drones and breakfast offerings. Personally, I’m going to put the ‘customize’ options to use and digitally smack around some Tranbuddhists. Heh.
As an extra bonus: the TV Spots section has two of the “Breakfast with the King” commercials for your viewing pleasure. I know some of you find him inordinately creepy, but I totally dig that Burger King is using him as a mascot again. I want one of those suits so badly.
Ya know… I wonder why the BK marketing guys (or gals) didn’t do something less obvious or clunky for this? If I had that kind of money behind me, I’d have gone for something like this, or just made a tiny little King’s Quest style game.
