Gallery of awe inspiring and stunning photographs. Great technique of altering Polaroid SX-70 film. After the process these photos turn out to look more like paintings than actual photographs.

A unique “painterly effect” is achieved by the manipulation of Polaroid SX70 Time Zero film. During the development process the image can be manipulated by applying pressure to the mylar envelope that encases the image. This pressure and manipulation will cause changes as the chemicals are forming the image. At the end of this process a unique image will be produced.  -Information from

    I read about that technique awhile ago, but it seems really hard.  You have to guess where the latent image is, and do all your work before the film stops developing.
