Israel Could Be The First To Illegalize Anorexia

Could this work here, in the U.S.? Wouldn’t that be an idea? Let’s try convincing young girls, and older, that maybe being a little too skinny and your bones protruding through your back or chest isn’t necessarily healthy nor attractive.

I think Adi Barkan, an Israeli photographer and model agent, who had worked in Paris and New York before setting up his own agency in Israel, might be on to something here. Celebrities and models are thinning down more and more everyday and so many idealize these public figures. Many women, and men, believe that they must be super thin to be beautiful, accepted and loved. The idea that certain print, advertising, and media agencies will only higher healthy models would help the morale of the general public’s idea of their own personal image and the overall health would improve. Ask your grandparents, they will tell you, size 0 never existed back in the day and neither should it now. Healthy is always a great way to go, no matter what your size!

Hey, I’m not saying anything, just let the pictures speak for themselves. You tell me.
