In 1983, an eleven year old Jonathan Caouette borrowed a neighbor’s video camera and began filming himself, his family, and everything else in an attempt to escape from the reality of his dysfunctional family life.  He continued to film everything about his life for the next 20 years, and the resulting documentary ”Tarnation“ hit the festival circuit to rave reviews.

It’s now out on DVD, and you can watch the trailer here.
