So you’re a burgeoning super villian (or in this case a student at Saint Vincent College) and you decide that maybe Xboxes are wasted on Halo 2 and GTA.  So what do you do?  Apply for a grant and create a Linux cluster of Xboxes, of course!

Thanks to our pals at DHADM for the find.

Heh can’t believe you guys found Adam’s site.  Man Small world I guess.  Yeah that was a cool project of his.  I think one of the firsts that did it actually.

cool smirk  If you guys ask nicely I can get you the star’s autograph. Heh heh.

Did he do anything with the cluster besides run a few tests?

I used it as a compile cluster for two years while when doing updates to my Gentoo distro, kernel updates, or compiling my senior project. Distcc is a great tool I recommend it to anyone doing longer than 30 second compiles.

    thank you sweet pickles
