Drive-In Theaters

Carl Weese takes us back to yesteryear with some black and white photography and memories of smooching in the front seat. Some drive-ins are still in use today, but they are few and far between. Remember what it was like to pay a small fee and get the opportunity to watch a couple of films and hang with your friends at the same time?

If your not down with drive-ins then there are many other options in Carl’s galleries.

New York State’s “Northcountry”

White Churches

Southern Mountains, Autumn 2004

Abandoned Buildings

Birch River, West Virginia 2003

Kinston, New York

Rockbridge Series

And many other options listed on the galleries page.

Not dead yet.  There is a brand new (2 year old) drive in just down the road in Freedom, WI.  The place is great and packed all summer long.
