Fine Art In Stain Glass

Judith Schaechter’s medium is stain glass, her art isn’t your typical type of stain glasswork, and you will not see it hanging in any chapel. She creates hellish, odd, creepy, mysterious almost dream like scenes and gives some wonderfully eclectic titles to her work.

Just click away at the list to the right of her site.

I’m in love and adding her to my Christmas list.

Had to quote her…

I think I’m a fairly normal human specimen. My interests are not particular to me and my thoughts about them not necessarily original (until, hopefully, they become stained glass panels!). My main interests are sex and death, with romance and violence the obvious runners up. I’m trying to be as cliche, sentimental, and decorative as possible–not as a strategy for ironic commentary about bow stupid sentimentality and cliches are, but because this is the stuff, that time and time again, I am obsessed with, in love with, and that I have faith in.
