Ah, here’s a hearty chestnut of a clip:  The ’Jaan Pehechaan Ho‘ sequence from the 1965 Bollywood spectactular, Gumnaam.  Which frankly is a hell of a lot more famous for being part of the opening credits of Terry Zwigoff’s Ghost World.

Grizzly Bear Man

The two gents known as Travis and Jonathan consistently turn in some of the most dead-on movie parodies out there, and their take on Werner Herzog’s Grizzly Man is no exception.

For those of you who haven’t seen Grizzly Man, it’s about Timothy Treadwell (imagine a more hippy/less masculine Carson Kressley), a self-appointed bear activist who lived among the massive predators in the Alaska.

Normally we post PSAs because they are so ripe for mockery, but this spot by the US Dept. of Health might just be the single most beautiful PSA we’ve ever seen.  Wow.

Today is a kind of a bittersweet day for movie fans, as it’s the day they announce the Oscar nominations (at 7:30 in the morning no less).  Like most years, the list lacks any real suprises, but really the worst part of the whole process is the ceasless shilling that will go on by the studios until the voting is done.  Fun!

While not exactly cutting edge humor, SNL actually turns in another bit o’ funny with this homage to the warrior king of the Internet, Chuck Norris

It’s not quite Tenacious D, but it’ll do.
