Ah, here’s a hearty chestnut of a clip:  The ’Jaan Pehechaan Ho‘ sequence from the 1965 Bollywood spectactular, Gumnaam.  Which frankly is a hell of a lot more famous for being part of the opening credits of Terry Zwigoff’s Ghost World.

I saw this in Ghost World years ago (or maybe another movie) and couldn’t find it anywhere!

This has got to be one of the top ten best ever tracks ever. I bought the Ghost world soundtrack for this alone (although there are a few other gems on it like Blues Hammer) but have not been able to find any other Mohammed Rafi tracks that are like it. Does anyone know if he did any other stuff in the same stlye?
