Long Version: Did you know that Feb. 3rd is Setsubun (the change of season)? In Japan that means it’s time to toss roasted beans about shouting ‘Oniwa-sato, fukuwa-uchi’ in the hopes that good fortune will befall your family, and any and all devils will be expelled.
Far be it from Transbuddha to pass up a perfectly good holiday, so it’s ‘no post madness’ while we gorge ourselves with roasted beans.
Yes, yes, we know. There’s that whole ‘unspoken agreement’ wherein we put new content up every day and you, well…you make us feel all validated. But you know what? There’s some 5000 posts in these here archives, and we bet you’ve seen like what? 50 of ‘em? Spend some time in the archives, or completely blow your day by browsing the media clip archives, via our handy mediaholder. Rest assured we’ll be back on Monday after good fortune has been courted and devils cast out.
Short Version: Have a good weekend everybody, and we’ll see ya on Monday.
