Jack (White) & Coke

It’s been a pretty open secret that the Hobgoblin of Rock Jack White penned a new jingle for Coca Cola sometime last year, but there’s been neither hide nor hair of the tune, or the corresponding spot.  Guess what’s now making the rounds (though the audio is a bit spotty)?

It’s a catchy enough tune, but the real stand-out is the clip itself which apes Yuki’s Sentimental Journey video.  No surprise really, as both Yuki’s video and this Coke advert were both directed by Nagi Noda.

Shades of Apple’s Intel ad, huh?  I’m still waiting on a good reason for why this hasn’t been released yet.

waaay cooler than pepsi commercials. I stopped drinking soda ages ago but yeah, I’d go with the Coke

Pepsi’s US commercials do kinda suck all around.  Their worldwide spots kick a lot of ass, though.

    Is that a pepsi-global-commercial challange I hear?
