Dig on some A/V goodness from Lawrence, KS rockers Dead Girls Ruin Everything courtesy of their pop-culture reference-riffic video ’All is Forgotten‘.  Bright eyed viewers might recognize the band as being comprised of 2/3rds of Ultimate Fakebook and 1/2 of Podstar.  Of course, even more astute viewers will realize that the crazy man pounding the living hell out of the drums must be none other than our good pal Eric Melin from Scene-Stealers. Eric and Josh Dubois co-directed the spot.

I think the “American Pie plus” approach was clever.

The group “The Starting Line” used the end of the movie “Say Anything” approach in 2003 with their video “The Best of Me”:

I would say it was pretty good.

Wow, that brought back some memories.  I think I’m going to have a nostalgia weekend and rent all those movies again.
