Godley & Crème – Cry

Kevin Godley and Lol Crème are better known for their work in 10cc and as music video directors than for their solo output, but in the case of ’Cry‘, those meandering paths seemed to all come together.  This clip from 1985 showcases why there were in such demand as video makers.  Kinda seems quaint now with the technology we’re used to, but the face morphing effects in this clip were among the very first to use digital imaging.  There are a couple of famous faces in the clip, to boot.

    Wow, I didn’t recognize her with her hair all teased up like that.  Still beautiful, though.

    I love the music from the 80’s. I still listen to it often and add to my collection as much as I can. It was so different from the 70’s.
