I’m not positive, but I think Battlebots would have stuck around a little while longer it shown throwdowns like this nerdgasm: a Gundam vs a Great Mazinger.
Sweet nerdy Brown.
That is so completely awesome. You know that somewhere, some little Japanese kid is thinking, “If I can buil a small robot and control it’s movement by wearing this little suit gizmo, why can’t I make a huge robot that does the same thing?” Once he figures out how to power it, we’re doomed.
Hahaha. Actually, this really makes me miss R.A.D (Robot Alchemic Drive) for the PS2. You played from the perspective of a teenager (of course) controlling giant robots from OUTSIDE the robot so you had to actually watch your own self from getting stepped on or landed on. The control set-up was unique (in the times before Fight Night) as each analog controlled an arm and you used the shoulder buttons to tell either the right or left foot to go forwards or backwards. It is a totally awesome game from Enix before they merged.
Seeing the water eletrolosis engine. I think our fears might be realized sooner than we think!
Robo-apcolypse, I welcome your coming.
Yes, I also welcome our robot overlords with fleshy open arms.
WHOOOOO! Today was a bonanza on the buddha network! OMG! A robot that mimics your own movement! FINALLY!
Who cares about the smaller size, Japanese got us beat!
Their robots look so much cooler than our chainsaws on vroombas. Their movements are better too. Damn. What happened america! This nation use to be at the forefront of technology!
