12 days and 774 miles later, ‘Buddha HQ has completed the move from Kansas City, Missouri to Huron, Ohio.  I appreciate all the well wishes I received during the break, and I’m happy to see that so many of you, my anonymous internet pals, enjoyed the randomized bounty known as the Transbuddha Archives during my transition time.

To start things off, here are some keen little sites I came across during my vacation:

The Home Movie Depot Archive, for those of you who (like me) like your videos all old-timey and crap. Or you might like Spin: A Documentary by Brian Springer, which is comprised of all unused network footage found on satellite feeds.  Originally from the mid 90’s, the film is still an interesting timekiller. Heading in the opposite direction is The Spam Recycler, which takes your much unloved spam messages and transposes them into rather beautiful art. And holy crap, an animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles teaser!

I dug my semi-vacation (if moving boxes and furniture and sweating off some 10 pounds can count as such), but it’s good to be back.

Naturally I’m glad to have you back, but you said it was an 850 mile move, and now you tell us it was a measley 774. I think someone owes us another 76 miles?

I got bored of driving, and bent the fabric of space and time to my will.

Ah, I thought there’d be a perfectly rational explanation for the lost mileage. It reminds me of an old Tommy Cooper Joke – “I’m on the whiskey diet, I’ve already lost three days”.
