Hummer – The Great Escape

I’ve no love for the road monstrosity known as the Humvee, but I am a sucker for all things Steve McQueen, so this Great Escape inspired spot tickles my fancy.  Those fine souls over at AdRants do bring up a good point, though:  These guys are adults at work.  Just how hard would it be for them to just simply walk out the door?

Update 5/5/07: Apparently Hummer & their lawyer commandos have decided that our free advertising doesn’t jibe with their Rand Uber Alles ethos, so you’ll have to find this commercial somewhere else.

Um, it’s a play on the idea that we are prisoners at our jobs?  Come on, 95% of commercial premises are broken apart by realism.
