I’m often asked ‘alphamonkey, why don’t you showcase more videos from French artists from the mid 80’s?’ The answer?  Because frankly, the videos tend to scare the hell out of me.  Sweet jittery junebugs!  And I thought Quarterflash’s Harden My Heart video was a nightmare, sheesh.

hey guys….u really6 don’t understand anything to nothing ..the rita, one of the most creative artists in france…keep trying,it s worth it!!

actually this particular song was written after the death of her best friend, it’s about her when she loved to smile and dance before cancer took her away.
It was and is still my favourite. By the way Catherine Ringer (singer) is now alone, her partner guitarist and song writer just passed away :(

The one number that makes any sense here is 7.

I’m SO with ge and Radhanuga here – lived in France in ’84 and LOVED this song – but never found out what it was!! I’ve eventually found it again after 24 years – praise God for the Internet! – and it’s as special now as it was then. Maybe you need to understand that it’s a tribute to the late Marcia Moretto, maybe you have to ‘get’ unusual music.. or maybe you just had to be there at the time… :-)
