Yesterday’s Eddie Murphy / Michael Jackon duet generated quite a bit of mail, most of which could be summed up thusly: “OMG Jackson is teh weirdest! How can u like him?”.  To be fair, the correspondence was quite a bit more erudite than my example, but hey, it’s the Internet.  Yet for all his (admittedly freakish) faults, Michael Jackson has left an indelible stamp upon modern culture.  Our first example is the music: when you hear it, you just can’t help from dancing, as evidenced from this spot
