Well, it looks like I’m going to have to add a Google API category before too long, as I’ve no fear that the trend of really cool adaptations will taper off any time soon. For instance, take a look (and listen) to SoundSeeker.org, which uses Google Maps to allow visitors to aurally experience New York via audio recordings provided by helpful volunteers. Want to emerse yourself in the sounds of a NYC public library or the Guggenheim? How about the sounds of a Pentacostal street preacher? Well, have at it.
