Coudal Partners apparently had the same reaction I did to Agency.com’s videotaped group auto-fellatio session. Take a look at Jim Coudal’s unsolicited response, which quite succinctly captures how awful the original truly was.
Oddly enough, Agency.com is claiming that the spot has generated exactly the response they were looking for. Yeah, right. Because every agency wants to be universally known as self-important tools who spout catchphrases and engage in manly fist bumping. Speaking of which, the parodies are already in full swing. Yes, now the fist bump is getting the Brokeback treatment, as in this parody, Douchebag Mountain.
