Bob Dylan – When the Deal Goes Down

I have to admit that, while I adore Bob Dylan, I haven’t been too extrordinarily excited about anything he’s done since say 1975.  While his latest album “Modern Times” is by no means the kind of powerhouse album he used to toss off regularly, it’s a powerful and compelling look at one of songwriting’s greatest talents.  It’s looser and less structured than his last two albums, and it feels like the solid of work of a man who, after 40 years, still has something worth saying.

That said, here’s the Scarlett Johannson flavored clip for the tune ’When the Deal Goes Down‘, which won me over with the sheer power of 16 millimeter.

    That’s Super 8, not 16mm.
