Is your coffee not doing the trick?  Why not let Ray Davies get you moving?  Due to popular demand, here’s more live Kinks action.  This time it’s a rousing rendition of ‘Victoria’ from the astoundingly good Arthur (or The Decline and Fall of the British Empire).

I think that “the astoundingly good Arthur (or The Decline and Fall of the British Empire)” is an understatement. I’d say something like “‘Victoria,’ the most outstandingly good song on an outstandingly good record by an outstandingly good band.”

Kinks fan though I be, I never knew that Ray Davies was a fellow diastematic. Makes me like him more. Oh, and is it just me, or is the bassist’s look really contemporary? Meaning now, not then.

I thought that was implied.  Heh.  Village Green and Muswell Hillbillies remain my favorite albums, but Arthur is right behind ‘em.

Heh, I’m a fellow diastematic as well.  (Though I’ll admit to having to look that word up.)
