If there is an undisputed king of stop motion animation, the title belongs to Ray Harryhausen, the man who brought to life a fantastic array of incredible creatures in films like Mighty Joe Young, The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms, Clash of the Titans, and of course the wonderful Sinbad films.  Why bring this up?  Because Harryhausen has been working on a stop-motion version of Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘The Pit and the Pendulum’, the teaser for which you can now view at the official site.

Info on the site is scarce, so it’s hard to tell if Ray is just producing the work, or it’s his project. Either way, cool!
