Sweet Belvedere’s Britches! It’s oodles and oodles of live music from some of the biggest bands ever!  Combining the archives of Bill Graham Presents with the complete King Biscuit Flower Hour and the Silver Eagle Cross Country series, Wolfgang’s Vault created a completely free site that lets you listen to a staggering array of live music from the 70’s and 80’s at their Concert Vault site.  Hendrix at Winterland?  Have at it.  Led Zeppelin at Filmore West from 1969?  Sure thing, sweetcheeks!  How about The Band at the Boston Gardens?  The available concert list is just mindblowingly awesome.

Holy crap.  My day just got so made.

I dug this site enough to do the stupid ‘comment on my own post’ thing.

I spent the better part of last night listening to a 1973 Stevie Wonder gig (when he was fresh off the Exile in Main Street tour with the Stones), and who was his guitarist?

Ray Parker, Jr.  Ray Motherfuckin’ GHOSTBUSTERS Parker, Jr.

Thank you. Thank you very much. If I had a womb, I’d let you inseminate me.

The day before you made this post, i actually bought (again) jimi at winterland. it was one of those i had years ago, lost, and needed back.

cool that you actually referenced that one in the post. i checked it out, and there are a few tracks on the site that are not on the album. good stuff.
