Fionn Regan: “Be Good or Be Gone”

in Audio Visual,Music Videos

If you do read The AV Club Blog at all, then you will know that I really do not post a lot of music videos.  The reason for this is very simple: most music videos bore me too much.  There are big exceptions to this generality, and this week I will post a few of them.  First up, this concept piece from Fionn Regan.  The idea is so clean and simple and well executed: perform the song in different locations and use the audio from each to create the final edited video.  This video really compliments the song, and it also had me thinking about how important the physical space a performance happens in is to the experience of the song.  Imagine if the whole album were recorded in any of these different locations- its interesting to think about how different it would be from one to the other.  Thanks for passing it along to me Jess.
