Here’s a rather interesting little short film directed by long time Transbuddha pal Casmir Nozkowski that gives us a look into the hidden treasures of that big city staple, the bodega market.  Or as Casmir puts it:

A humorous yet searing commentary about the choices confronting people who live in “the poorest urban county in the country.” Under the yellow awning of the Bronx Bodega, all the important food groups are represented. Join Dallas Penn of and Rafi Kam of as they illustrate the finer points of the Bodega Food Pyramid.

    Pure Comedy.. I did have and issue with this piece however, they did not point out the milk that is usually a 5 min from the door’s walk from being buttermilk.
