CNN is reporting that Anna Nicole Smith died today after collapsing in her hotel room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel.  A strange and sudden end to a strange woman who has contributed absolutely nothing of value to our culture beyond bizarre and protracted legal battles, a hideous television show that was like spying on the brain a human sized sex crazed puppy that was addicted to vicodin, a bevy of late night television jokes, and some serious fantasy fodder back in the early 90s. 

So g’night, Anna Nicole.  While the world would be a better place were we only able to remember her jaw-droppingly rockin’ first appearances in Playboy, I think we here at Transbuddha would prefer to remember her as she deserves to be remembered:  As the greatest actress of all time.
