Summer of Tears

Summer of Tears is closer to a live troupe that wanders into short film territory on occasion than a full-on internet sketch group, but the work they’ve put out online is certainly good enough to make me dearly wish they’d spend more time doing shorts.  As shocking as it may seem Transbuddha HQ ain’t exactly a coastal mecca, unless you consider Lake Erie a coast.  So it’s not often (or ever) that I can get out to LA to see these guys live and onstage, as much as I might wish to.

They’ve stayed pretty quiet on the video front recently, but I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot more of Summer of Tears.  At least, I dearly hope so.

Recommended Viewing: Photographer, Politicians, Nick Massouh’s Songs…, and their excellent video rejection letter Aspen*.

More SOT fun can be found here.

*Speaking of Aspen, Summer of Tears has been accepted into this year’s US Comedy Arts Festival, so look for full coverage of their appearance ‘round the beginning of March.  Congratulations, SoT.
