Get all historical with 100 Years Ago Today, the fastest old news website in the world.  Because really, isn’t the daily doings of the Nineteen Aughts just as interesting as what’s happening on American Idol?  (Answer: much, much more so.) For instance, on March 13th, 1907, Alain LeRoy Locke became the first black Rhodes scholar.  Keen!

Seeing as the national memory seems to stop somewhere around 1982, this should provide some interesting insights.
