Maybe it’s the next big thing. Maybe it’s just the next big buzz. I dunno, but I want one.

Alphamonkey’s post about Screen Vader the other day made me wish my computer really worked like that–tricked out all Minority Report-like.

Well, this 3.5 minute demo answered my prayers. It showcases the multi-touch screen interface technology called Perceptive Pixel, created by NYU professor Jeff Han. Very future cool.

For me, this kind of interface would change everything about the way I interact with computers. Mostly ‘cause I’d just keep repeating to myself, “The future is NOW!” Over and over and over.
