It’s (nearly) Summertime, and The Living’s Easy

We’re having some wonderful weather in the Midwest this week, a welcome contrast to last week’s ‘Surprise, here’s some more snow, bitches!’. Every year, when the weather is warming up, I find myself drifting back to the sounds of Sublime.

I always wonder how the world of music would be different today if it weren’t for the untimely death of Bradley Nowell. I recently picked up the Everything Under the Sun box set, and have been playing it non-stop for the past week. Seriously, even if you’re a huge Sublime fan, and you own all of the albums, there’s still a ton of tracks that you haven’t heard before. From the CDs to the DVD to the book included, it’s an interesting look into the life and times of, what I feel is, one of the most influential musicians in history.

Here’s ‘What I Got’ and a list of available clips on the YouTube so kick back, and shake off the Winter doldrums. You might even see a porn star cameo, or two.
