Bootlegging, Prohibition, gang land wars, and anthropomorphic cats.  Not exactly what you’d consider a recipe for webcomic success, but Tracy Butler’s Lackadaisy makes it all work with some astoundingly gorgeous artwork and tight storytelling.

Set in 1920s St. Louis, Lackadaisy tells the story of a gin joint hotspot and the lives that surround it in a visual style that feels like a sepia soaked Disney years Don Bluth sprinkled with modern anime accent.
