I’ve grown more and more obsessed with finding organic food solutions as of late (in no small part due to my girls), so I’ve been looking into tapping the extensive looking farming community.  The website Local Harvest has proved to be a fantastic resource in locating all manner of avenues for seeking out local otpions, be it via restaurants, groceries, or farmers’ markets.

Just enter your zipcode and what type of venue you’re looking for and voila!

You might also check out EatWild, a site that links consumers with suppliers of ‘grass-fed beef, lamb, goats, bison, poultry, pork and dairy products’ or GreenPeople.org, which has an excellent organic solutions search function.
