The ether & æther experiment – Crazy

While I’m the ubiquitousness of Gnarls Barkley’s ‘Crazy’ has long since diminished it’s initial impact, it’s always nice to stumble across a group of musicians who can reinterpret a song in a manner that’s at least sonically interesting.

So how about a cover that’s literally hands-on? Theremins, moogs, drum machines, guitar, and even a hand waving over carpet are the ingredients in this clever take on ‘Crazy’ by the Ether & Aether Experiment.  Bonus points for the composition and editing of the performance video.

Fascinating but that blaring noise took it’s toll on my sensitive little brain. I think I’ll go listen to that “Whale Sounds” cd that I never opened
