AV Club’s Pyscho Bob returns with another comic-strip style adventure. Will Psycho Bob find the acceptance and companionship he longs for with a new dog? Let’s find out!
Was this supposed to be funny? I like dark humor, but this was just stupid and mean.
I think ‘strange and weirdly funny’ would be the more appropriate adjectives. I like the series because I envision what the individual panels of a strip would be, and how odd the same subject becomes when made live-action.
I’ve watched several of the “Psycho-Bob” clips and still just fail to find them funny. Too much higher-brain function to get it, I guess. To be fair, I went back and watched this clip several more times and I think I’m going to stick with my original comment of “just stupid and mean.” Maybe I just have a hangup about animal cruelty (a lot of buzz here lately in the news about office workers relieving stress by beating animals to death). To each their own but thank you, .alphamonkey, for attempting to make my adjectives more “appropriate”.
I do like the idea of porting strip ideas into live-action. I think that would really give the free speechers a work out!
I guess you missed the whole “He is a psychopath” thing eh?
I thought the whole idea of him listening to a how to on dog ownership was a great little gag.
