A Tribute to the Rolling BoulderAnyone who has played games for any length of time has come to love the unlikely protagonist. We’ve rallied behind a mutated earthworm, a dolphin, and of course an intrepid plumber. But I have to give credit to Petri Purho, who really went the distance in order to honor a most neglected soul: The rolling boulder from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Yes, Tribute to the Rolling Boulder puts you in the uh, um, shoes? of cinema’s most famous would-be archaeologist crushing boulder as you attempt to uphold your honor and keep meddlesome culture rapers archaeologists from stealing precious idols. The game is an entry in the Assembly GameDev Competition, and was created in under a week. In your face, procrastination, eh?
